Choo Kwee Hiang is a wholesaler specializing in good quality frozen meat like pork, beef, chicken, lamb, etc. We also carry other frozen food such as cheese tofu, hot dog, taiwan sausage, lobster ball, etc. Our company emphasizes reliability and sincerity in our service provided to all our customers and prompt delivery upon request. We have been supplying hawkers, restaurants, food courts, and many end-users over the past 30 years.
OUR STORY
WET MARKET
Choo Kwee Hiang was founded on 1 January 1970 by our founder, Mr Teo. He was raised by his mother, who used to own a stall at Upper Boon Keng Wet Market selling fresh meat and eggs. Growing up. Mr Teo frequently helps out at his mother's stall along with his siblings to sell to the neighborhood.
B2B EXPANSION
When the government began construction of HDB flats which forced many people to relocate, Mr Teo noticed a drop in sales in his mother's business. This motivated Mr Teo to help his mother by venturing into B2B, catering to F&B establishments such as hawkers, restaurants, food courts, and a range of end users. He started his own meat factory in 1994 to process custom cuts for his customers and named the company after his mother.
